    Christmas is coming early for dairy farmers

    Fonterra's confirmed a surprisingly high 55 cent total dividend for the past financial year, after posting a strong 1.1 billion dollar net profit.

    It's forecasting earnings of 40 to 60 cents per share for the current year.

    It's also raising its forecast Farmgate Milk Price, for the second time this season -- lifting the midpoint from 8-dollars-50 to 9-dollars.
