    The man at the centre of a Mycoplasma bovis investigation has been charged by MPI, over importing farm equipment earlier this year


    The contagious disease was discovered in July 2017, and the cattle involved were traced back to Alfons Zeestraten's Southland property.

    But Zeestraten's lawyers say the charges are unrelated to bovis. .. they centre around farm equipment he imported in January this year.
