Some good news for farmers, in the last Global Dairy Trade auction before Christmas

Some good news for farmers, in the last Global Dairy Trade auction before Christmas

Overall prices are up 1.3 percent on last fortnight -- while the crucial Whole Milk Powder price is up point-five percent.

Dairy prices have now returned to pre-Covid levels.

Rabobank has also increased its farmgate milk forecast by 65 cents to seven-dollars per kilo of milk solids.

It says global demand is holding up, and consumer sentiment is improving.
