Falling global dairy prices have pushed down Fonterra's forecast Farmgate Milk Price

Falling global dairy prices have pushed down Fonterra's forecast Farmgate Milk Price

    Fonterra
    Fonterra
It's changed its forecast range to 8-dollars-50 to 10-dollars per kilogram of milk solids -- down from 8-dollars-75 to 10-dollars-25.

The midpoint has reduced from 9-dollars-50 to 9-dollars-25.

However, the current advance payment rate of 5-dollars-70 remains unchanged.

The dairy co-op says global demand for dairy is softening over the short tern, and inflation is affecting purchasing behaviour.
