Farmers are being asked to donate a stinky sample to help conduct new research

Farmers are being asked to donate a stinky sample to help conduct new research

Beef and Lamb are calling on farmers across the country to collect and provide them with sheep poo - in an effort to better understand facial eczema.

It's a disease that causes permanent liver damage to pasture grazing livestock... with no cure.

Science Strategy Manager, Suzi Keeling , says they're trying to pinpoint where the disease's hotspots are.

She says they also need to know where it might be starting to spread and areas where it's not.
