A final vote on whether to sell Anchor and Mainland to French company Lactalis for 4.2 billion dollars, is happening today.

Fonterra will keep about a billion dollars to reinvest in the business.
The remaining 3.2 billion dollars will be returned to farmers, and most are likely to receive at least 200 K to save, pay down debt, or invest back into the farm.
