It's a two-way street when it comes to the oval-ball code competition for New Zealand's leading female athletes

It's a two-way street when it comes to the oval-ball code competition for New Zealand's leading female athletes

That's the message Black Ferns assistant coach Steve Jackson amid the latest reports of interest from the country's top rugby players in switching to rugby league.

The return of the Warriors to the NRL-W next year's increased talk within the Black Ferns about code-hopping - with at least six 15s and sevens players understood to keen on a potential switch.

Jackson says while league is looking at rugby's best - the opposite is also true from their end.

The Black Ferns are in camp ahead of Saturday's Pacific Four opener against the United States in Hamilton.
