    The search for Christchurch City Council's new chief executive is underway - with the job ad listed on Seek


    The council's been under the leadership of an interim chief executive since Dawn Baxendale's resignation in November.

    The ad calls for an experienced chief executive with a track record providing strategic, visible and inspirational leadership and delivering value-for-money services.

    It says effective management of the council's financial performance is crucial, as is the need to champion climate change initiatives.

    Applications close on July 28.
