Upper Hutt's Mayor agrees with the Prime Minister calling Wellington's regional councils "lame-o" - for failing to come up with plans to partner with Government

Upper Hutt's Mayor agrees with the Prime Minister calling Wellington's regional councils "lame-o" - for failing to come up with plans to partner with Government

The Wellington Regional Leadership Committee had expressed interest in joining forces on a major project, but failed to meet a proposal deadline.

Wellington Mayor, Tory Whanau, says they're still working on it, and accused Chris Luxon of punching down.

Wayne Guppy says he's right and he, too, is disappointed the region failed.
