A tough decision ahead for Christchurch city councillors

A tough decision ahead for Christchurch city councillors

The budget for the new stadium, Te Kaha, has blow out by 150-million dollars - to a projected new price tag of at least 673-million.

The public will have a say on whether the city council should spend the additional money, scale back the project, or halt it.

Councillor Jake McLellan says they need to listen to the community, but he believes people will be divided on whether to spend the additional 150-million.
