    The collapse of a popular clothing retailer in Australia isn't expected to impact Kiwi branches


    Jeanswest is the latest victim of Australia's retail climate - with accountants taking over for a major restructure.

    But Retail NZ spokesman Greg Harford says going into administration over the ditch doesn't affect things here.

    But he says this does show how rough the retail market is in both countries.
