    Black Friday shoppers are being advised product prices could have increased ahead of the sale


    Data from price comparison website PriceSpy shows one in 10 products go up in price around Black Friday.

    PriceSpy NZ's Liisa Matinvesi-Bassett says a month before Black Friday last year, the price of the Apple iPhone 8 Plus was 959 dollars, but on the day the price had increased to 1416 dollars.

    She says it's important people research what they want to buy, to make sure they get real deals.
