A prediction the red-hot running property market won't cool anytime soon

A prediction the red-hot running property market won't cool anytime soon

Latest Real Estate Institute data shows median house prices across New Zealand increased by 19.3 per cent year-on-year - to a record 749-thousand dollars in December.

Inventory levels are also at their lowest ever - and that's putting pressure on house prices.

OneRoof editor Owen Vaughan thinks we'll see a continuation of the current situation for the next three to six months.

He says if you're out there in a crowded open home - don't expect it to get less crowded any time soon.
