The first Saturday housing auctions of 2021 have been even busier than expected

The first Saturday housing auctions of 2021 have been even busier than expected

One house sold in Auckland's Kingsland suburb went for 970-thousand-dollars -- 210-thousand-dollars above RV.

Ray White agent Tim Hawes says it has been expected to sell because the auction was triggered by an early offer.

He says 11-hundred people have been through his open homes in the few weeks since the Christmas break.

Hawes says buyer activity is intense because there's not much market supply.
