    Fonterra has lifted its forecast Farmgate Milk Price

    The midpoint of the forecast range has increased seven-dollars-20 per kilogram of milk solids -- to seven-dollars-60.

    It follows an historic rise in global dairy prices on Wednesday.

    The co-operative had previously been planning to wait until next week to make a decision on the farmgate price.
