Ashburton Bridge is back running as usual

Waka Kotahi has smoothed a dip in the bridge's deck, allowing the speed limit to return to 50 kilometres an hour.

Traffic's been slowed by a limited of 30, since the recent flooding and pier damage.

Waka Kotahi network manager Jessica McFarlane says they are aiming to complete remaining bridge repairs in the next two months.
