Despite snap lockdown's and border closures, New Zealand's residential real estate has remained resilient in 2021

New figures from Core Logic show property prices rose in every suburb around the country last year.

Up to 31 suburbs now have median values of two million dollars or more.

Chief Property Economist Kelvin Davidson says price growth will start to slow down for buyers in 2022.

He says the market can't keep rising at its current speed forever.
