    The tourism industry in Rotorua is projected to bring in 400-million dollars in four years


    RotoruaNZ has released a report showing the city is positioned to be a leading international destination for spa and wellness.

    It says more than 400-thousand tourists visited the geothermal spas and wellness activities last year.

    RotoruaNZ Chief Executive Andrew Wilson says these numbers show it's a strong contributor to the country's economy.

    He says the sectors also employs a huge numbers of locals, and they want to continue creating these jobs because they pay well.
