RetailNZ says early indications this morning are many are not currently experiencing problems with payments and point of sale systems, however it warns as this global issue is now in "fix it mode" there is the possibility of further outages.

The organisation is urging consumers to be patient and have the ability to pay with cash or Eftpos, which was a more stable platform last night.
