    New Zealanders are being given confidence the economy is heading in the right direction


    The country's inflation rate is officially back on target, at 2.2 percent - its lowest rate in more than three years.

    Finance Minister Nicola Willis says there will still need to be some difficult choices to keep rates and debts down.

    She says it's important for how the country is viewed internationally and for future generations.
