    New Zealand's economic downturn has eaten into the Warehouse's revenue -- with the Big Red Shed taking an almost 17 million dollar hit in sales


    The Warehouse Group's made up of The Warehouse, Noel Leeming and Warehouse Stationery, and collectivity, totals sales for the 13 weeks to the end of October were 668 million dollars.

    That's 2.5 percent lower than the same period last year.

    Sales were down 2 percent at the Warehouse, and 2.1 at Noel Leeming.

    Warehouse Stationary had the sharpest decline, experiencing an almost 7 percent sales dip.
