Liquidators have paid out more than 400-million-dollars to around 10-thousand Cryptopia users over the past two days

Liquidators have paid out more than 400-million-dollars to around 10-thousand Cryptopia users over the past two days

The Christchurch-based cryptocurrency exchange entered liquidation in 2019, after losing around 10 percent of its assets from a theft, affecting around 960-thousand users.

Grant Thornton liquidators have been working since March 2020 to identify account holders and return all assets.

They're encouraging all remaining account holders to verify themselves for future distributions, which will continue into 2025.
