Billionaire investor Warren Buffett's announced he'll retire from Berkshire Hathaway by year's end

The 94 year old's recommended Greg Abel as his successor for the multinational conglomerate.

Mr Buffett's added he has zero intention of selling one share of Berkshire Hathaway and will instead give it away.

Berkshire Hathaway owns more than 60 companies, including battery-maker Duracell and restaurant chain Dairy Queen.

It also has major stakes in Apple, Coca Cola, Bank of America and American Express among others.
