Positivity in tourism - heading into summer

Positivity in tourism - heading into summer

Latest Stats NZ figures record more than 260-thousand overseas visitors in October - a lift of 22-thousand on the same month last year.

    That's an encouraging 93-percent of pre-Covid levels - in 2019.

Tourism Industry Aotearoa CEO, Rebecca Ingram, says operators are full of optimism - and hoping to keep up the momentum.

She says a really good summer season's ahead - with lots of forward bookings.
