    Twenty-three staff at Health New Zealand earned more than a million dollars in the last financial year


    The agency's annual report reveals one staff member earned more than 1.7 million dollars.

    Interim chief HR Officer Robyn Shearer says all 23 employees who earned more than a million dollars in the year are in specialist medical roles.

    Seventeen employees were paid more than a million dollars in the previous financial year.

    The remuneration also includes allowances and other expenses, as well as base salaries.
