Fletcher Building's agreed to sell its construction arm to French multinational Vinci Construction for up to 334-million dollars - pending regulatory approval.
The sale's part of Fletcher's signalled move to becoming a "manufacturing and distribution" business.
CEO Andrew Reding says they're confident this is the right decision for shareholders - based on extensive market soundings.
They also believe it's best for their Construction division, and the broader industry
