The head of Sealord says he respects Foodstuffs North Island's right to reduce the amount of Sealord products they sell

The Kiwi fishing company's range of products will soon be reduced by fifty to seventy percent at North Island Pakn'Save and New Worlds.

They will make way for products from another supplier.

Sealord CEO Doug Paulin says he won't challenge the legality of the supermarket company's decision.

Paulin says while the negotiations are tough he doesn't see them as illegal - and respects the company's decision.
