ASB's latest Housing Confidence survey shows Kiwis' house price expectations are plummeting

Just eleven percent of respondents think house prices will continue to rise over the coming year, down from 49 percent last quarter.

ASB senior economist Mike Jones says the public's attitudes towards the housing market is changing.

He says we're now seeing house prices fall, about five percent below the peak of last year, so it's become much more of a buyers market.
