    Woolworths New Zealand is working on opening up a wholesale grocery supply


    The company owns Countdown supermarkets and is the franchiser of Fresh Choice and Super Value.

    It's asked other interested retailers or organisations to register their information online.

    It follows the Commerce Commission's recommendations around wholesale and Government measures to improve the sector announced this week.

    The company has set up a separate team to find out more about potential demand, establish new processes and systems and start conversations with suppliers.
