Australia remains a popular new home for Kiwis

Stats NZ data show a net migration loss of 27-thousand people going from New Zealand to Australia last year - rising from 14-thousand the year before.
A total 44-thousand-500 people moved across the ditch.
Herald business editor-at-large, Liam Dann, says he expects those numbers will keep climbing.
He says Australia is probably the primary destination for Kiwis looking for better opportunities.
