    Tensions are rising over Christchurch's temporary stadium, with Canterbury Rugby League claiming it's owed hundreds of thousands dollars in revenue


    It's seeking financial compensation and a say in the future of Apollo Projects Stadium, which opened after CRL relinquished its long-term lease.

    Our newsroom understands the organisation received some compensation before its move to Nga Puna Wai.

    CRL Chief Executive Malcolm Humm confirms there were instalments.

    He says parts of that were for running costs and office spaces for a short period of time, but they're now looking at what they could've been generating now through income.
