A former captain, a Crusaders centurion and a cult hero have been added to the team's Hall of Fame

Reuben Thorne, Leon MacDonald and Norm Maxwell have been inducted this afternoon - joining inaugural members Todd Blackadder, Wayne Smith and Justin Marshall.

Thorne and MacDonald both played more than 100 games for the Crusaders - and were part of their first seven Super Rugby title-winning sides.

Maxwell was a foundation squad member, making the first of his 75 appearances in 1996 - he went on to win five titles across a 10 year career.
