The Black Caps could be bracing for further changes to their squad on the eve of cricket's Champions Trophy

The Black Caps could be bracing for further changes to their squad on the eve of cricket's Champions Trophy

A Zoom media conference involving head coach Gary Stead has twice been delayed, with a spokesperson saying they are awaiting news on a team update.

Ben Sears has already been ruled out of the tournament and replaced by Jacob Duffy - with Lockie Ferguson and Rachin Ravindra also carrying injuries in the last fortnight.

Wicketkeeper Tom Latham says they are otherwise ready to go for their opener against Pakistan tomorrow night.
