All Blacks Sevens coach Tomasi Cama is pointing to the lack of sevens experience with which new players are entering the senior environment

The New Zealand Under-18 team are now the main pathway to the national team, with no more senior provincial competitions.

Cama says most players come in with a background in fifteens.

The men are under way in the World Series event in Singapore at 6.48pm against the United States.

The Black Ferns Sevens play China from 7.32pm.
