New Zealand-born basketballer Mojave King is a step closer to a possible NBA debut

New Zealand-born basketballer Mojave King is a step closer to a possible NBA debut

King's draft rights have been offloaded by Indiana to New Orleans as part of a trade to receive back their 2026 first-round pick.

The Pacers have also relinquished their number 23 selection.

King was first drafted by the Lakers in 2023, and was immediately traded to Indiana, where he played at Summer League and G-League level.

He's featured for the ANBL's Breakers and NBL's Tauranga Whai in the past year.
