    Basketballer LeBron James is set for a record 23rd season in the NBA


    The 40-year-old's agent Rich Paul has told ESPN that the Los Angeles Lakers forward has activated a 92-million dollar player option for the 2025-26 campaign.

    James - the NBA's all-time leading scorer - currently shares the record of 22 seasons in the league with eight-time all-star Vince Carter.
