    The Black Ferns have thrashed the Black Ferns XV 45-12 in today's trial match in Whangarei


    The Ferns led 26-5 at halftime.

    They scored seven tries to two... Braxton Sorensen-McGee grabbed her second try after the break ... Katelyn Vaha'akolo, Amy Du Plessis and Jorja Miller finished off the second-half scoring.

    The other first-half tries came from Sylvia Brunt and Portia Woodman-Wickliffe.

    Ruby Tui scored a try in each half for the Black Ferns XV .
