The Breakers say Tacko Fall's early departure from the club ahead of the Australian NBL basketball season is a mutual decision

The Breakers say Tacko Fall's early departure from the club ahead of the Australian NBL basketball season is a mutual decision

The 2.29-metre former NBA centre was signed until the end of the 2025-26 campaign - penning a two-season deal in November last year.

At the time, head coach Petteri Koponen admitted he wouldn't have signed Fall - saying the decision was ultimately made by the club's now former owners.

The 29-year-old featured in 18 games last season - they won three of them.

A Breakers spokesperson has told Newstalk ZB that the club and Fall mutually agreed he had better opportunities elsewhere.
