Eight athletes have been conditionally selected to represent New Zealand at the 20-26 Winter Olympics in Italy

They include this country's most decorated Winter Olympian, snowboarder Zoi Sadowski-Synnott - the 20-22 slopestyle gold medallist in Beijing.

Ski racer Alice Robinson returns for her third Games.

Also provisionally named are freestyle skiers Ruby Star Andrews, Luca Harrington, Ben Barclay, Luke Harrold, Fin Melville Ives and his snowboarding twin brother Cam Melville Ives.

The selections are subject to the New Zealand Olympic Committee receiving a quota for each event.
