Liverpool manager Arne Slot's keeping his feet on the ground after a morale-boosting victory

Liverpool manager Arne Slot's keeping his feet on the ground after a morale-boosting victory

They've dominated for large periods on route to a 1-nil Champions League home win over Real Madrid.

The reigning Premier League champions had lost six of seven matches before last weekend's 2-nil home win over Aston Villa.

Slot's been asked if they've officially turned a corner.

Tottenham have romped to a 4-nil victory over Copenhagen in London, despite playing most of the second half with 10 men.

Bayern Munich also won despite having had a player sent off, pipping hosts and defending champions Paris Saint-Germain 2-1.

Earlier, 15-year-old Arsenal midfielder Max Dowman became the youngest player in the competition's history, coming on as a sub in their 3-nil win away at Slavia Prague.
