    Swimmer Lewis Clareburt has met the qualifying standard for next year's Commonwealth Games


    The 26 year old has won the 400 metre individual medley event at the Queensland Championships in a time of four minutes 12.15 seconds.

    That's 0.06 of a second under the qualifying standard for the Games at Glasgow.

    Clareburt is the defending Commonwealth Games champion in the 400 IM, he also claimed bronze in the event on the Gold Coast in 2018.
