Bill Tuiloma hadn't envisaged returning home to New Zealand at this point in his football career

Bill Tuiloma hadn't envisaged returning home to New Zealand at this point in his football career

The All Whites defender has signed with the Wellington Phoenix through until mid-2028, after more than a decade in France and the United States.

Playing in New Zealand wasn't on his radar but Tuiloma says after being released by Major League Soccer club Charlotte, he assessed his options.

Tuiloma will be eligible from the middle of next week.
