Kiwis hooker Jeremy Marshall-King is expected to miss the first six rounds of the NRL for the Dolphins after suffering a knee injury at his home

Marshall-King slipped over, injuring his meniscus and has already undergone surgery.

He is not expected back until mid to late April in a huge blow to the Dolphins in their quest to play finals for the first time.

Dolphins head of performance Jeremy Hickmans says Marshall-King's surgery was successful and he will now begin his rehabilitation.
