The Bangladesh Cricket Board stance remains against their side playing their T20 World Cup matches in India next month due to security concerns

The Bangladesh Cricket Board stance remains against their side playing their T20 World Cup matches in India next month due to security concerns

They are scheduled to play their first three fixtures in Kolkata and their final group game in Mumbai.

The ICC governing body suggests there are no raised threats.

The problem arose when the Indian governing body instructed the Kolkata Knight Riders to remove pace bowler Mustafizur Rahman from the IPL without a specified reason.

The Bangladesh government banned the broadcast of the tournament as a result, adding to already strained relations between the nations.
