Former Kiwis and Melbourne Storm prop Nelson Asofa-Solomona is donning the gloves for the first of his nine contracted boxing matches tonight, against fellow former league player Jeremy Latimore

Former Kiwis and Melbourne Storm prop Nelson Asofa-Solomona is donning the gloves for the first of his nine contracted boxing matches tonight, against fellow former league player Jeremy Latimore

The 29-year-old called time on his NRL career last year, saying he fell out of love with the sport, before signing with Australian boxing promoter No Limit on a multi-million dollar deal.

Asofa-Solomona says there are things he wants to accomplish in his new career.

The big prop's bout is on the undercard of Nikita Tszyu vs. Michael Zerafa in Brisbane.
