    Lockie Ferguson is edging closer to a first appearance for the Black Caps since November 2024


    The 34-year-old has been through what bowling coach Jacob Oram's described as a "battery of tests" ahead of the fourth T20 cricket international against India tomorrow morning.

    Ferguson's latest injury setback was a calf strain suffered in the ILT20 league last month.

    He missed the Champions Trophy last year with a hamstring issue.
