Tall Blacks centre Sam Mennenga is brimming with confidence heading into the FIBA international window following an impressive campaign with the Breakers in the Australian NBL

New Zealand's in Manila to square off against the Philippines overnight, before clashing with Chinese Taipei in Christchurch next Monday.

Mennenga says he's rapt to be back in the Tall Blacks' environment, especially under new coach Judd Flavell.

A win over the Philippines tonight would be a giant step towards qualifying for the Asia Cup.
