New Wellington Phoenix striker Ifeanya Eze is aware of the expectations ahead of him in football's A-League

New Wellington Phoenix striker Ifeanya Eze is aware of the expectations ahead of him in football's A-League

The 26-year-old striker has been recruited in a journey from his home country Nigeria through Libya and most recently on to Iraq.

He's been asked about succeeding Kosta Barbarouses as the team's marquee striker.

Eze wore the seven jersey at his Baghdad club - and will don the same number at the Phoenix.
