Black Caps white-ball captain Mitchell Santner has broadcast the group's confidence, ahead of tonight's second Chapple-Hadlee T20 against Australia at Bay Oval

Facing the Aussies is one of three preparation series for the T20 World Cup in India in February and March.

While Santner's sidelined till England's tour of New Zealand in a couple of weeks - he says there's genuine belief they're a potential World Cup-winning team.

First ball's set for 7.15 pm ... but the forecast for Mount Maunganui is for rain, heavy at times.
