Wellington Phoenix gaffer Giancarlo Italiano believes it's the sides with the best balance who will triumph in a congested A-league competition

Wellington Phoenix gaffer Giancarlo Italiano believes it's the sides with the best balance who will triumph in a congested A-league competition

The Phoenix lie at the bottom of the ladder - four points outside of the top six - but a win this afternoon against the Central Coast Mariners at home will put them back in playoff contention.

Italiano says a couple of good performances is all it takes to get back on track.

    Kickoff is at 3 o'clock.
